Foundry Leads $25M Investment In Urban Airship
Boulder-based venture investment firm Foundry Group is the lead investor in a big, $25M funding round for Portland-based Urban Airship, Urban Airship said on Thursday. Urban Airship said the funding was led by Foundry Group, and also included True Ventures, August Capital, Intel Capital, Verizon Ventures, QuestMark Partners and Franklin Park Associates. The company said it will use the new funds to accelerate its global growth. The company, led by CEO and President Brett Caine, develops software which helps companies implement mobile notifications, web push notifications, email notifications, and much more. Foundry is an existing investor in Urban Airship.
