In an unsurprising move following the acquisition of Boulder-based
SimpleGeo last week by
Urban Airship, co-founder Joe Stump
told his blog readers Tuesday that he has decided to "move on" past the acquisition, and is has purchased an RV and is going to visit as many incubators and co-working places as possible around the Southwest. SimpleGeo's other founder, Matt Galligan, who also had left the firm, albeit before its acquisition by Urban Airship. SimpleGeo had been backed by Redpoint Ventures, First Round Capital, Lowercase Capital, and Foundry Group, among others.
