Backflip Studios Releases My Little Pony Title
Boulder-based mobile app developer Backflip Studios--which is now owned by Hasbro--said today that it has released a new title around Hasbro's My Little Pony. The two said it has released a match-3 puzzle game called My Little Pony: Puzzle Party, which is free to play with in game purchases. The title is available on Android and iOS. Hasbro and Backflip said the title is the second to feature an "iconic" Hasbro brand in 2016. Hasbro acquired Backflip Games in 2013, buying a 70 percent stake in the mobile games maker for $112M.
