Building Your Own Periscope? Wowza Media Systems Rolls Live Streaming SDK
Golden, Colorado-based Wowza Media Systems is targeting mobile app developers interested in enabling mobile, live video streaming, with a new software development kit (SDK), the company said today. The company said its technology already powers such live video social apps as Periscope. Pricing on the SDK was not announced. The company's technology enables live video streaming on iOS and Android. Wowza is led by David Stubenvoll. Periscope is an immensely popular mobile app which lets anyone stream their life to anyone who ares to watch.
