Wowza Launches CDN Service
Evergreen, Colorado-based Wowza, the developer of streaming media server software, said today that it has teamed up with MIrror Image to tie its software into a content delivery network (CDN) from Mirror Image. The partnership makes it easier for Wowza's customers to tap into content delivery of their streaming media. Wowza said the new offering will provide pay-as-you-go-pricing and consolidated billing for the CDN services. Financial details of the partnership were not announced.
