IO Offers Up Renewable Energy Option

said this week that it has opened up a new, 100 percent renewable power option for its customers, via an agreement with Arizona Public Service. IO said customers in its Arizona data centers will be able to purchase 100 percent, renewable energy for their data center operations from the utility. IO said the service will be available at incremental cost, and will tap into wind and solar energy. The company did not say where that wind and solar energy is being generated.
