Galvanize Ventures Raises $10M For Seed Investments
Denver-based Galvanize Ventures Fund I, an investment fund related to Denver's Galvanize, has closed its seed fund at $10M in commitments, the fund disclosed Monday in a regulatory filing. The fund--being run by Christopher Onan, Lawrence Mandes, and James Deters--has been in the midst of gathering funds since last December. The fund is related, but separate from Denver's Galvanize. Deters disclosed yesterday that the fund so far has invested in 12 companies. The fund will invest not just in Colorado but nationwide.
