Galvanize is planning an expansion to Phoenix, Arizona, the company said Wednesday, to help bring its flavor of high tech education to the PHoenix market. Galvanize said it is working with the City of Phoenix and Allstate to open up a new campus in Phoenix, which it hopes to open in late 2016. Galvanize said the new location will initially will offer agile training to Allstate employees in the Phoenix area, beginning early next year. Galvanize said that Allstate will sponsor 100 to 150 students--hiring graduates from Galvanize's 24-week, Galvanize Full Stack web development program--from the program at the
new campus. The new campus will be located next to another, major Phoenix technology startup, WebPT, which said it is moving into the same warehouse space. WebPT is a venture backed startup backed by Battery Ventures and others, in the electronic medical records area.
