Declara, a developer of personalized learning technology for the education market, has raised $9M in a funding round--part of an effort which has seen the company grow its operations in Boise, Idaho. The company said the new funding is part of the same Series A it announced in April, and brings that round to a total of $25M in investments. Declara
has been expanding in Boise as a result of that earlier investment, with plans to double the number of developers in Boise from an existing ten people. The new funding came from EDBI (Singapore) and Linden Venture Fund. Declara develops technology to help teach new skills to teachers and administrators, using predictive analytics, semantic search, and machine learning techniques.
