Vivint Solar has tapped technology and startup veteran
Dwain Kinghorn as its new Chief Strategy and Innovations Officer, the company said Tuesday, to help bolster the company's business development channels. Kinghorn joins Vivint from consultancy SageCreek Partners, and also had served at CTO of Altiris, in addition to his time at such companies as Symantec, Computing Edge, and Microsoft. Kinghorn joins former SageCreek Partners founder Greg Butterfield, who is now CEO over at Vivint Solar. Vivint Solar offers up residential installation of solar power, using power purchase agreements (PPAs) to reduce the cost of solar installations.
