Vivint Solar Expands To Texas
Lehi, Utah-based solar installer Vivint Solar said today that it has expanded it reach to Texas, and will being offering up residential solar power systems, starting in Austin. Vivint Solar said Texas leads the nation in terms of energy consumption, accounting for more than one-eighth of the total energy consumption in the United States. Vivint Solar said that Texas also has been quickly adopting solar energy, with solar capacity growth of 65 percent over the last year. The expansion brings Vivint Solar's footprint to a total of 14 states.
