Photon Machines, a developer of laser-based spectroscopy and spectrometry devices, has been acquired by
Teledyne Instruments, a California-based electronics instrumentation, aerospace, and defense electronics firm. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. PMI's equipment is used for medical research, forensic, and material science applications.
