Utah Launches Google Glass App For Transit System
The State of Utah is showing off its efforts to keep on the cutting edge of technology, with the release of what it says is the first, "wearable" app for Google Glass by a state government. According to Utah.gov, the online portal for the State of Utah, it has released OnTime for Glass, a transit tracking app for Google's Internet-connected heads up glasses display. Utah.gov said the new app provides notifications on approaching trains or buses, provides route information, and real time vehicle location information on public transit to users. Utah.gov said the application is the first ever created by a state website for Google Glass.
