MapQuest Launches Walking, Transit Directions
Denver-based MapQuest said Thursday that it has launched new walking and transit directions on the site. The firm said it will provide the most efficient paths through parks and streets to help travelers get around cities. The firm also added rail transit directions in NYC, Chicago, D.C., San Francisco, Boston, and Philadelphia. MapQuest said it hopes to add other cities, transit system maps, bus schedules, and other features in the future.
