Fusion-io Sets Storage Vet As Field Ops VP
Salt Lake City-based solid state storage provider Fusion-io has hired on a new Executive Vice President of Global Field Operations, the company announced. The company said it has hired Ian Whiting--a storage veteran who had served as SVP Sales Americas at Riverbed, and SVP Worldwide Sales at Brocade Communications--to lead its sales team. Whiting also has served at such companies as Compaq Computer Corp., NetWorth Inc. and Data Translation Networking.
