Fusion-io Buys ID7 For Linux Driver Skills
Salt Lake City-based solid state storage developer Fusion-io said Monday that it has agreed to acquire a developer of open source storage software, ID7. UK-based ID7 is on eof the key developer of the SCST SCSI Linux Target Subsystem software, which is used in enterprise storage products. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Fusion-io said that ID7 was founded in 2006, to developer storage software across iSCSI, Fibre Channel and InfiniBand networks. Fusion-io said it has added ID7's developers as part of the acquisition.
