NexGen Storage Ties With Fusion-io On Storage Product
Louisville, Colorado-based NexGen Storage, the developer of storage aimed at the virtualization market which is headed by John Spiers, said today that it has tied with Fusion-io on a midrange storage area network (SAN) product. NexGen said it has integrated Fusion-io's ioDrive into its product, to provide better performance and virtual machine high availability to customers. NexGen said the deal includes an OEM agreement to include Fusion-io's technology into every NexGen n5 Storage System. Financial details of the OEM deal were not announced.
