RightNow Buys Salesnet
Bozeman, Montana-based RightNow Technologies has purchased Salesnet, a sales workflow automation firm. Salesnet, which is a competitor to Salesforce.com, provides hosted sales automation software. RightNow said that it will add 26 employees and a dozen off-shore development with the acquisition. Terms were not disclosed for the all-cash deal. RightNow said that it will support Salesnet's existing customers, and will integrate the Salesnet application and RightNow applications this summer. RightNow provides hosted, online customer relationship management tools.
