Sun Number Helps Denver Homeowners With New Solar Energy Tool
Are you interested in possibly putting solar panels on your roof, and wish you had an easy way to figure out if their roof is appropriate for an installation? A Denver-based company, Sun Number, said it has expanded its online tool for homeowners to figure out how much energy their rooftop can generate, automatically. The company--which has been providing its service across the country, but not in Denver, said it will let residents in the Denver metro area, plus suburbs such as Broomfield, Brighton, Westminster, Aurora, Lakewood, Highlands Ranch, and beyond punch in their address and get an immediate analysis of the potential solar energy from their building's rooftop. Sun Number said the tool was developed with funding from the Department of Energy. The company was funded by a SunShot Initiative award from the U.S. Department of Energy, which goes towards companies helping communities to expand solar adoption.
