Vivint, the home automation services firm which recently was acquired by Blackstone, said today that it has promoted Alex Dunn to President. Dunn--who was previously Chief Operating Officer--will oversee the firm's strategic direction and future expansion. The firm said that Dunn was instrumental in securing the firm's equity partners, including Goldman Sachs, Peterson Partners and Jupiter Partners, prior to the acquisition by Blackstone.
