Parchment Raises $23.5M
Scottsdale, Arizona-baesd Parchment, which provides electronic transcript exchange services for high schools and postsecondary educational institutions, recently raised $23.5M in a Series D round. The funding was led by The Raine Group, and also included GSV Capital Corp, Novak Biddle, ICG Group, Salmon River Capital, and education investor Deborah Quazzo. Parchment, which is led by Matthew Pittinsky, transmits electronic versions of high school transcripts to colleges and universities. The round brings the company's total raised to $34M.
