Denver-based MapQuest has launched a new mobile application today, for both the iPhone and Android, featuring information on gas prices near users. The free app allows users to see gas prices near them, automatically finding your location and even filtering for gas types (diesel, E85) available at stations. MapQuest actually has had gas prices available on its service for some time, but the new apps specifically make that information more available to mobile users. MapQuest said the app is available in iTunes and Google Play.
