Sorenson Media, the developer of video encoding software with significant operations in Utah, said today that it is in a partnership with RealNetworks. Sorenson said the two will provide an end-to-end solution to encode, manage and deliver video content for live and on-demand streaming. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed. The deal bundles together RealNetworks' Helix media streaming software with Sorenson's various encoding products.
