The CEO of Boise, Idaho-based memory maker
Micron, Steve Appleton, has died in a plane crash, the company said Friday morning. According to a statement from Micron's board of directors, Appleton, who was Chairman and CEO f the company, died in a small plane accidentin Boise Friday morning. Appleton was 51. According to
local media, Appleton crashed in an experimental Lancair single engine aircraft at 9am. Appleton had been at Micron since 1983, and became CEO in 1994.
