Vivint (APX Group Holdings), has lost one of its board of directors in a plane crash, the company said Thursday. Vivint said that
Joe Trustey passed away on July 29th, along with his daughter, in a private plane crash. Trustey was a managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Summit Partners, and had been on Vivint's board since 2012. Trustey also sat on the board of Vivint Solar, which is in midst of being acquired by SunEdison. Trustey, who lived in Boston,
had been flying his daughter on a college visit to Milwaukee.
