First Solar Loses CEO
Tempe, Arizona-based First Solar, the maker of thin film solar panels, said today that CEO Rob Gillette has stepped down. Gillette has been replaced by Chairman Michael Ahearn, who the firm said will serve as Interim CEO. Reason for the sudden change up in leadership was not announced. First Solar said it has launched a search for a new, permanent CEO.
