Gorilla Logic, a developer of open source test tools for the mobile and Internet market, said today that it has updated FoneMonkey, the firm's testing tool for iPhone and iPad applications. Gorilla Logic, which is headed by Stu Stern, said the tool allows developers and testers to write test cases in Javascript, and also adds a new API. Gorilla Logic's tools are aimed at QA engineers, helping to record interactions with iPhone and iPad apps. The tools are used to detect bugs and errors in software automatically via scripts, rather than forcing QA engineers to test things manually.
