Grow Utah Ventures said this week that its latest iteration of its
Concept To Company Contest will focus on Northern Utah. The group, which has been running a series of competitions to spur entrepreneurship in the State of Utah, said it is offering up $34,000 in cash and services in its latest competition, which will close on July 5th. The new contest will focus on general technology, specifically new products, services or innovations that utilize technology as its core process. The cash prize is coming from the Northfront Business Resource Center and SEED Weber-Davis-Morgan, with services donated by Kunzler IP Law, Forthgear Marketing, Ballard Spahr Law, and Advanced CFO Solutions. The group's last contest closed in May and had focused on Southern Utah companies.
