Infinity Pedals, a firm which designs bike pedals and shoe cleats, is the winner of Grow Utah Ventures' latest Concept to Company Contest. Runners-up in the contest, which awards a combination of cash and services to promising firms, included C.M.W. Products LLC, a designer of longboards, and Multifacetid Design, a manufacturer of ski binding adaptors. Grow Utah has been running a series of its "Concept to Company" contests to encourage entrepreneurship and help turn ideas into businesses in the State of Utah; the latest was focused on outdoor products. Grow Utah said it will announce its next set of contests in early 2010, with a focus on digital media and general technology.
