BoomStartup Selects 2011 Companies
Salt Lake City-based BoomStartup, the mentoring and venture acceleration program, has announced the ten companies in its 2011 class this morning. BoomStartup said that ChampionVillage, CircleFive, Explorer.io, FaceTags, Golf Compete, Jumbas, OER Glue, PromoKube, Proz and VuTherapy are all participating in the program, and will receive $15,000 in seed capital, free office resources, professional services, and mentoring. Those startups will be housed either at BoomStartup's location at the Miller Business Innovation Center or at the Canyon Park Technology Center. BoomStartup's program runs for three months, May through August. The group is also a member of the TechStars Network.
