Boulder Startup Week Dangles Airfares To Developers
The organizers of the upcoming Boulder Startup Week, which looks to attract software developers to the local startup commmunity, is dangling five airline tickets to Boulder for the event for promising software engineers. According to the group's organizers, several local companies involved in the effort will buy plane tickets for five people to come out to the event, which is being held between May 18th and May 22nd. The event was first held last year, and includes a loose affiliation of startup-related events and activities. Boulder has managed in the last few years to become a magnet for high tech startup, in part due to the work of local technology mentoring program TechStars, as well as a significant amount of new venture funding and exit activity.
