said this morning that it has launched The Irish Collection, which it says is the "definitive" collection of online family historical records for Ireland in the 19th century. The new collection--released for St. Patrick's day--includes various genealogy resources for people of Irish descent. Ancestry.com said the records include records of people who rented land or property in Ireland in the 1850's, tax tithes, maps, and photos. Ancestry.com provides a number of historical records online for people researching their family history.
