Ancestry.com Releases 1940 Census
Provo, Utah-based family history site Ancestry.com has released the complete, 1940 U.S. Federal Census through its service, the company announced this morning. The company said all 134 million records of the census are now available via its site, allowing users to search by name, date, place of birth, and other information found in the census. Ancestry.com said the records are free to search.
