Denver-based MapQuest announced a new downloadable application for the popular BlackBerry smartphone, which the company said will add additional capabilities to the phone. According to MapQuest, its new MapQuest 4 Mobile is a free, downloadable app which gives BlackBerry users ability to find directions and maps, as well as traffic and local search information on their phones. MapQuest, which is owned by AOL, said the new service will be available on both Sprint and At&T, with additional handset support rolling out over the next few months.
