CoorsTek, a major manufacturer of ceramics, said today that it has completed the purchase of the advanced ceramics business of
Saint-Gobain. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. CoorsTek said the buy now brings its total number of facilities to 44 on four continents. CoorsTek's facilities supply materials to the semiconductor processing and other industries. As part of the buy, CoorsTek said it adds six manufacturing facilities in Europe, four in the United States, and one each in Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
