CoorsTek Acquires Ceramics Manufacturer
Golden, Colorado-based CoorsTek, a provider of ceramics and components for the high tech market, said today that it has acquired Gaiser Tool Company, a high-quality ceramic precision tooling manufacturer based in Ventura, California. Gaiser Tool provides wire bonding technology and ceramic products used by the semiconductor industry. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Gaiser Tool also maintains operations in Tokyo, Japan. Coorstek said that the acquisition will bring technical ceramic expertise to the company.
