SimpleGeo Releases Into Public Beta
Boulder-based SimpleGeo, the developer of location-based technology and data services, said Wednesday that it has released its SimpleGeo Places and SimpleGeo Context products into public beta. The firm's SimpleGeo Context service provides information such as geographic boundaries, weather, and demographics for a location, and SimpleGeo Places is a database of business listings and points of interest. SimpleGeo is venture backed by Redpoint Ventures, First Round Capital, Lowercase Capital, Foundry Group, and others. The company is a TechStars company, and also has operations in San Francisco and Boston.
