A California company said today that it is laying out the plans for a possible network of 120, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in Southern Arizona today, as part of an effort with the U.S. Department of Enregy and The EV Project. According to ECOtality, an installer of electric vehicle charging stations, it is developing a plan to install 120 potential charging stations in the Greater Tucson area. The firm said it plans to install 230 of its Blink charging stations in Tucson, in addition to approximately 180 residential charging stations, including at the Tucson Botanical Gardens, where the plans are being announced today.
