Boulder-based
Lijit, the provider of online search software for blog and other website publishers, announced Friday that it has started rolling out what it says is its "most ambitious software and product" update since it started providing its search results in 2006. According to Lijit, the new update is rolling out gradually to its publisher base, and includes such features as including recent "tweets" and status updates from Twitter, ability to share Facebook status updates and photos in results, connections to Flickr, Yahoo's photo site; and ability to share YouTube videos, and watch them, in search results. Lijit also said it has also rewrote its search results pages and implemented a new look and feel. Lijit is venture backed by Boulder Ventures, High Country Venture, and The Foundry Group.
