Denver-based NewsGator, the developer of social networking software for Microsoft SharePoint, said Tuesday that it has updated its Social Sites software. The firm said the latest version of its software adds language localization, as well as features to help new employees of companies add profiles. NewsGator's software is targeted at enterprises, who are using the software to help their employees collaborate on projects and get to know each other. The company said the updated version of its software--Social Sites 2010 1.1--will be available in the next 30 days, and will support English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese. NewsGator is headed by J.B. Holston.
