Limelight Networks, a provider of content delivery network (CDN) services, said today that it has acquired
Delve Networks, a provider of cloud-based video publishing and analytics services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Limelight said it will make Limelight Networks into its Video Platform Solutions business unit. Delve Networks was based in the Seattle Area. Limelight said that as a result of the buy, it can provide its customers with tools for publishing online video, analyzing end-user preferences, and monetizing their digital assets. As part of the acquisition, Delve said its entire staff is joining Limelight. Delve was privately held, and backed by DFJ Frontier, Intel Capital, and Labrador Ventures.
