Cleantech Open, a business competition which is looking to spur investment and businesses in the clean technology industry, said Tuesday that it has named a number of semifinalists for its competition in the Rocky Mountain region. The competition--which has support from such firms as Chevron and Google--said the semifinalists include Fort Collins-based
betterengines, Golden, Colorado-based
BioVantage, Helena, Montana-based
DenDroCo, North Logan, Utah-based
DIAL Emissions Monitoring, Los Alamos-based
eQsolaris, Woods Cross, Utah-based
Go Natural CNG, Rio Rancho, NM-based
Greenwall, Salt lake-based
H.O.T. Water Company, Salt Lake City-based
INOTEC, Cheyenne, Wyoming-based
NDCPower, Longmont, Colorado-based
PCMI, Tuscon-based
Verdan Earth Technologies, and
VolumeWind, based in North Logan, Utah. Those firms are among 104 teams looking to score up $50,000 in cash and services in a regional competition, and $250,000 at the national level for their businesses.
