UQM Technologies, a developer of alternative energy technology for the auto industry, reported today that it has signed an agreement with Electric Vehicles International LLC, a firm developing electric, medium duty trucks. According to UQM, it will supply its UQM PowerPhase 150kW electric propulsion systems to EVI, in a one-year supply agreement. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. UQM said it would deliver the first 50 systems to EVI in June, with completion in October.
