PerspectX Aids Space Exploration Firm
Ogden, Utah-based PerspectX, a provider of visualization, digital effects, animation, and interactive software development, is aiding one of the firm's participating in the Google Lunar X Prize, Next Giant Leap. Next Giant Leap said Friday that PerspectX will help the firm visualize its missions, by providing animation of its missions. Next Giant Leap said it hopes the work with PerspectX will enhance its opportunity to win the prize. The group is creating small spacecraft, hoping to win the Google Lunar X Prize competition, a $30M competition for the first privately funded team to send a robot to the moon, funded by GOogle and run by the X Prize Foundation. The X Prize Foundation was the group which spurred the first, commercial spacecraft flight, in the Ansari X Prize competition.
