Ping Identity Joins OpenID
Denver-based Ping Identity, a developer of single sign-on software, announced Wednesday that the firm has joined the OpenID Foundation, a group focused on single sign-on standards for the Internet. The firm said Pam Dingle, a senior technical architect in its Office of the CTO, will represent the firm on the OpenID's board of directors. OpenID is a group focused on open standards for logging into Internet sites, and also includes such firms as Facebook, Google, IBM, Microsoft, and Yahoo.
