Global Solar Energy, a manufacturer of CIGS thin film solar products, said Thursday that it has launched a line of USB solar chargers. According to the firm, its USB enabled SUNLINQ portable solar chargers allow consumers to power up mobile electronic devices, including mobile phones, PDAs, Apple iPOds, and Amazon Kindle readers. The new device incorporates the firm's flexible solar cells in their design. Cost of the new SUNLINQ products was not announced by the firm.
