Pronghorn Technologies Gets $70K Grant
Laramie, Wyoming-based Pronghorn Technologies, a developer of oxidant sensors, said today that it has received a $70,0000 grant from the U.S. Navy. According to the firm, the grant covers research and development of residential oxidant sensors, used for shipboard desalination systems. The firm said its sensors help measure hypochlorite, which is an oxidant in household bleach, which is harmful to the environment. The company said the grant brings its total grant money raised to $1.05M since 2005 for its R&D efforts.
