Salt Lake City-based
Sparxent confirmed Tuesday that it has acquired Cemaphore Systems, a provider of email synchronization and replication services. Financial terms of the deal, which
first came to light last week, were not disclosed. The acquisition of California-based Cemaphore is the fourth acquisition by Sparxent since August; Sparxent just acquired two Russian IT service providers in June, acquired Colorado's XAware in May, and purchased an IT outsourcing firm based in Southern California last August. Cempahore is based in San Mateo, California, and provide email synchronization and real time mailbox shadowing to mid-market clients.
