Sparxent said Wednesday that it has acquired Colorado Springs-based
XAware, developer of open source, XML-based data integration software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to Sparxent, the buy will help the firm simplify the process of integrating software applications for its customers. XAware was venture backed by BMJP, Gefinor Ventures, GMT Capital, ITU Ventures, Sequel Venture Partners, and vSpring Capital; Sparxent is funded by vSpring Capital. The acquisition is the third for Sparxent since August of last year.
