Broomfield, Colo.-based Level 3 Communications Inc. revealed Monday that it has expanded its relationship with a key customer. The financial impact of the new business was not disclosed. The fiber optics-based telecommunications services provider said it will provide biopharmaceutical firm ImClone Systems with colocation, Internet access and Internet-based private network services at ImClone's facilities in New York City, New Jersey and Germany. Level 3 noted that it will expand its fiber network in order to connect directly with ImClone’s locations in New Jersey and New York City. ImClone is a subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Co.
